The purpose of this program is to advance leadership development using a facilitated and defined mentoring process. This process is based on accredited and established research that leverages one-to-one relationships. The program is a structured process with a 10-week curriculum consisting of four group workshops, followed by a period of facilitated learning, after which mentors and mentees meet one-on-one.
This is a 5-month-long program starting in January and ending in May. Applications open during the end of Fall quarter. Matches will be made by early January, and then mentors and mentees will meet for the first time at the Mentorship Mixer Event in January.

Expectations/Commitments:
This program partners one mentee with one Ascend professional mentor and one senior/executive member of Ascend for a five-month period, January – May
Monthly communications – by phone, video conferencing (ex: Skype), in person
A minimum of three in-person meetings, not including the Kick-Off and Mid-Point Check-In. Ideally, one meeting will occur at the professional mentor’s place of employment
